My control board had issues at start up this spring and I spoke to Lisa and she set up for a service tech to come out to Pigeon Lake to look at my tub. David was the tech that arrived on time and completed his diagnostics and recommended a new control board and the seals on the hush pump were leaking and he said we could replace the seals but I suggested we just put in a new pump. “We spent quite a bit of time researching new tubs, makes and models. We needed reliable, warranted, and were buying a new tub for two for retirement outside of Edmonton. We heard winters could be cold😊 Research done, we selected the Beachcomber LEEP 009 and drove in to the store in Edmonton (149th St). The team was great, soft hands, soft sell, no pressure. We paid a small deposit to get our tub ordered and three months later, they delivered it. The delivery was personal and thorough.
The tub is enclosed in an 8x12ft outbuilding, quaint, out of the wind ( and snow). The 009 is perfect for two people, and fits perfect in our shed. We have not had a hiccup. Runs great, using bromine, easy on the skin and easy on chemical maintenance.
All along the way, the staff have been super, very supportive, responsive and family oriented.

“I highly recommend dealing with all beachcombers staff . Recently purchased a used hot tub with my friend recommending I deal with Beachcombers even though my hot tub was a dynasty . Their chemicals and service is way better than anyone else . Soon I found this out in taking water samples in with staff educating me on multiple occasions how to use the chemicals and maintain my hot tub.
These personal experiences prompted me to get their onsight service tech at my house . I had noticed leaks on my pad getting bigger after a few months of use not knowing how to diagnose the issue . I’ll add my appt close to winter was scheduled in promptly so we didn’t run into freezing temps . Lisa managing this whole situation couldn’t have done a better job in communication , service and developing an overall rapport with myself . My hot tub took a lot of investigating and work to bring it back to what I feel is like knew again . Two visits coming out and making sure everything was perfect showed how professional this business really is as well accommodating their staff can be . With winter upon us, and our old tub giving up the ghost after all this time and two moves, it was clear that the costs to make any repairs weighed heavily when compared with the purchase of a new one. We contacted Beachcomber Hot Tubs & Outdoor Living Edmonton and Michael returned our email enquiry in a very timely manner, with all the information and pricing/availability.
Wanting to have a touchy/feely hands-on look at the lineup of new spas, we made our way in on a Sunday afternoon where both Mike and Michael toured us through and answered every question (and there were a lot) on all series and models of Beachcomber. Both gents were patient and professional and we felt absolutely no salesman pressure to purchase- just great information and guidance to help us find the right spa for us.
After a few hours in the gorgeous new store, we narrowed our choice to two models but had to sleep on it! After all, we know the quality of Beachcomber but those fine tweaks of fit and the finer details needed to be considered.
We made our decision overnight and committed to a practical and functional new 380 Moonstone/Ebony. Living rurally, we were able to finish off our business electronically and will take delivery very shortly. We could not have been more pleased with our decision and how professionally Michael and Mike took care of us. Every question answered – every detail carefully looked after, even down to having the installer team assist us in retiring our old tub off the pad.
We can’t wait to see the new one in place at the farm and start soaking our aches and pains away, de-stressing after a rough work day. We’re confident that the team at Beachcomber will support any repair needs in the next 25 years with our new spa! Yay for Canadian manufacturers, sales and service. You can’t go wrong here!”
