Heater Element Replacement
A hot tub heater element is a crucial part of your hot tub's heating system, responsible for warming the water. It works by using an electrical current to heat a coil, which then transfers that heat to the water.
There are different types of heater elements, with titanium being a popular choice due to its durability and resistance to corrosion. They also come in various power ratings, or kilowatts (kW), which determine how fast the water heats up.
You may need to replace your heater element if you notice any of these symptoms:
- The water is not heating up or is taking a very long time to get warm.
- Your hot tub's electrical breaker is frequently tripping.
- There is visible damage to the element, such as cracks or corrosion.

Winterizing/ Seasonal Service
Even if a hot tub is empty, it's crucial to properly winterize it because "empty" isn't truly empty. When you drain the tub, water remains trapped in the internal plumbing, pumps, heater, and jets. When water freezes, it expands. This expansion can exert immense pressure, causing pipes to crack, pumps to burst, and the heater to be destroyed.
Winterizing your hot tub is a key part of protecting it during the colder months. Our certified technicians will come to your home and perform a complete winterization of your Beachcomber Hot Tub, including a full draining and clearing of all plumbing lines to prevent any damage from freezing. This one hour service is available for a flat rate of $125.

Circuit Board Service/Replacement
Is your hot tub acting strange? The control panel is the "brain" of your hot tub, and when it malfunctions, the issue often traces back to the main circuit board. A few signs may indicate that your Beachcomber Hot Tub's circuit board needs service or replacement:
- Unresponsive or erratic behavior: If your pumps, light, or heater won't turn on, or if they turn on by themselves, you may have a misfired signal from a faulty circuit board.
- Visible damage: Look for burn marks, melted components, or a "fried" smell around the circuit board. These are clear indicators of an electrical issue.
- Tripping the GFCI breaker: If your hot tub keeps tripping the GFCI breaker, it could be a sign that the circuit board has a short or other internal issue.
- Error codes that won't go away: While many error codes can be resolved with a simple reset, a persistent code may point to a deeper problem with the circuit board itself.
Diagnosing a faulty circuit board can be a complex task, and replacing it requires a professional touch. Give us a call or click the button below, and our team will be in touch to either troubleshoot the problem over the phone or set up a service call to get your Beachcomber Hot Tub back in top condition.
