Beachcomber Special Edition Hot Tubs: Premium Features, Exceptional Value

Every year, Beachcomber releases a small collection of Special Edition hot tubs — and if you’re shopping for a new spa in Edmonton, they’re worth a serious look. These aren’t stripped-down “sale” models. They’re three of Beachcomber’s most popular HYBRID4® tubs, pre-built with the colour combination and feature package customers ask for most, and offered at meaningful savings for a limited time or while supplies last.

What Makes a Hot Tub “Special Edition”?

Normally, building a custom Beachcomber means choosing your model, then working through acrylic colour, cabinet finish, jet package, lighting, and audio options one at a time. It’s a great process if you want something completely your own — but it also takes time, and full customization comes at a price.

Special Edition tubs skip that process. Beachcomber pre-configures each model in its most requested finish — Opal acrylic with an Ebony cabinet — and bundles in premium features that would otherwise be add-ons. Because these builds are produced in batches rather than one at a time, the savings get passed on to you. Across the current three-model lineup, buyers are saving between roughly $6,100 and $7,900 off the regular price, depending on the model.

In short: you get the same Canadian-made craftsmanship and premium features as a fully custom build, just without the wait or the custom price tag.

The Current Lineup

Beachcomber’s current Special Edition collection spans three sizes, so there’s a fit whether you’re outfitting a family backyard or a couples’ retreat:

The 380 HYBRID4® seats up to 7 and includes a cooling seat, so bathers can ease out of the heat without leaving the tub. With up to 102 FlexJets™, it’s an accessible entry point into the Special Edition lineup without compromising on hydrotherapy.

The 590 HYBRID4® also seats 7 and steps things up with an elevated active seat and a love-seat style bench, giving soakers of every height a comfortable spot. It offers up to 128 FlexJets™ across its seating layout.

The 740 HYBRID4®, the flagship of the three, seats 6 and is built around a form-fitting lounger with targeted hydro-pulse massage for the neck, back, calves, and feet, plus up to 183 FlexJets™ — the most of any model in the Special Edition collection. If you want the closest thing to a spa-day experience in your own backyard, this is the one to stretch out in.

All three models measure 89″ x 89″ x 38″ and are finished in the same Opal acrylic and Ebony cabinet combination — a clean, timeless look that suits almost any outdoor space.

Premium Features, Included

Special Edition doesn’t mean “basic.” These tubs come loaded with the same technology found across Beachcomber’s premium lineup:

  • FlexJet™ hydrotherapy — up to 183 jet positions depending on the model, so every seat delivers a different massage experience.
  • HYBRID4® energy efficiency — full-cavity Eco4WALL™ insulation and an efficient heating system built for real Alberta winters, not just mild-climate marketing claims.
  • ClearTech® UVC sterilization — the same UV technology used in hospitals and municipal water treatment, working alongside your sanitizer to keep water cleaner with less chemical use.
  • Ambient exterior lighting — corner LED lighting and accent details that make the tub as much a nighttime feature as a daytime one.
  • Whisper-quiet circulation — Beachcomber’s low-energy Hush Pump™ technology keeps water filtered around the clock without the noise, or the power bill, of a standard pump.

Why Edmonton Owners Choose Special Edition

For a lot of buyers, a Special Edition tub hits the sweet spot between “off-the-shelf” and “fully custom.” You’re not compromising on quality, insulation, or hydrotherapy — you’re simply choosing from Beachcomber’s most proven, most-loved configuration instead of building from scratch. That means a shorter path from decision to delivery, and real savings versus building the equivalent tub custom.

Because these are limited releases, availability and pricing shift throughout the year and can vary by model and season — so the lineup and savings you see today may look different in a few months. Pricing shown on Beachcomber’s national site is in USD and may not reflect current Edmonton showroom pricing, so it’s worth confirming current CAD pricing with us directly.
